Solar electricity is generated from solar photovoltaic panels. Compressed air is produced with the solar electricity using compressors and stored in cylinders/ underground, pipelines etc. This is called the solar compressed air energy storage filling station. The road transport vehicles are fitted with required cylinders to store compressed air. The compressed air is allowed to run an air turbine. Required rounds per minute are obtained for the alternator to generate electricity through transmission gears. The electricity generated is fed to the motor of the road transport vehicles as an energy source. Kindly note that the air turbine, transmission gears, alternator, electric motor are fixed in the vehicle. Air is filled up in 5 minutes from filling station whenever required– say after every two to three hours of running. This is a renewable source and the energy can be used as long as the sun and earth exist.
